Latest Series: Art Captures

Capturing the essence of an artist’s painting through photography is a deeply rewarding experience for me—it’s about preserving not just the visual beauty of the artwork, but the emotions and stories woven into it. Every brushstroke, every layer of color, holds a unique energy, and as a photographer, my role is to translate that energy into a photograph that respects the artist’s intent while also adding a layer of my own interpretation.

Portfolio

Collection 1 | Artists Work

As an artist myself, I love the challenge of showcasing, the texture, the depth, and a soul that comes throughout in a painting that allows you to connect with the viewer as if the art was right there. I like to make sure I’m trying to preserve every brush stroke every layer of color because everything holds a very unique energy. As a photographer, I like to translate this into the artist representation of how and what they were going through as they made that particular stroke. The photo should be a bridge that comes between an artist’s vision and a viewer’s experience. It’s the joy of storytelling. It’s the joy of sharing something much more deeper than just a photograph.

Collection 2 | Yoga

To capture a physical practice in essence is just an outer shell, but my aim in photography is to capture every breath, grace and vulnerability as a yoga practitioner. My goal is to tell a story of discipline, balance, and connection both with oneself in the outer world.  For me, this is a way of honoring the practice and inspiring people to find their own sense, balance, strength, and tranquility.

Collection 3 | LANDSCAPES

As you look at a landscape, there’s something beautifully humbling about standing in front of mountains, endless oceans, giant forests, and capturing a moment like that I feel is timeless. I aim to take photos where people can take that pause, breathe, appreciate our wonderful planet and rise to feel the calmness of the lake, the hotness of a sunset and the coolness of the evening moon. It’s about honoring the world, honoring and respecting nature and inviting us to slow down and embody ourselves in this beauty that surrounds us.

Collection 4 | Sari Shoots

So this one I like to call happy accidents— A very good friend of mine owns a sari business, and she brings in the most exquisite of fabrics and as an artist, I totally fell in love with her collection. Every sari has a story to tell-it talks about craftsmanship, history of the art , the motifs, the era! I love how the sari flows, there is uniqueness in how you can capture the drape and flow.  It is more than just the fabric, it is honoring tradition and its significance and the story behind this particular sari. I like to highlight the beauty of just not sari but the person who is wearing it. What’s their story?

“When I take pictures, it’s all about breaking free from the ordinary and finding beauty in places that are unexpected. It’s where I like to experiment where imagination and techniques that can come together to push boundaries. I like to play with light and abstract compositions, and the goal is always to create somethings that, brings about a sense curiosity, and emotion.”

“I like using storytelling and visuals to share what I want to express, it’s my way of seeing the world with fresh eyes and I hope it  inspires people take on photography and dream a little bigger and appreciate what we have in front of us.”
